Advice, systems and people

Nonbox V works at three levels: we help you decide what to do, we build it, and when you need capacity rather than a project, we provide the engineers.

01 / AI

AI consulting & strategy

Most AI projects fail on the choice of problem, not on the model. We start by separating the ideas that will repay the effort from the ones that will not.

We assess your data, processes and appetite for change, then give you a roadmap with sequencing, cost estimates and honest risk. If the answer is that AI is the wrong tool for a particular problem, we will tell you that too.

What we do

  • AI opportunity assessment and use-case selection
  • Data readiness and feasibility review
  • Build vs. buy vs. fine-tune decisions
  • Roadmap, budget and delivery plan
  • AI governance, privacy and risk guidelines
  • Workshops and training for your team

You get

  • A written assessment you can act on
  • A prioritised use-case shortlist
  • Effort and cost estimates per initiative
  • A prototype plan for the top candidate

AI systems

  • LLM assistants and copilots
  • Document understanding and extraction
  • Retrieval over your own knowledge base
  • Workflow and back-office automation
  • Forecasting, scoring and recommendation
  • Evaluation and monitoring for AI features

Software

  • Web applications and customer portals
  • iOS and Android applications
  • Internal tools and admin systems
  • APIs and system integration
  • Data pipelines and dashboards
  • Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and operations
02 / BUILD

Custom AI & software development

We build the system end to end — product design, engineering, deployment and the unglamorous work of keeping it stable afterwards.

Our own product, FROMONTO, runs on the same practices we apply to client work: small releases, real users early, and a codebase someone else can pick up. You own the source code and the documentation from the first commit.

03 / IT

IT consulting & modernisation

When systems grow faster than the plan behind them, everything becomes slow and expensive. We review what you have and lay out a route to something maintainable.

This is often where a relationship with us begins: an assessment with clear findings, a prioritised list of fixes, and the option — never the obligation — to have us carry them out.

Assess

  • Architecture and codebase review
  • Cloud cost and performance audit
  • Security and access review
  • Vendor and licensing assessment

Improve

  • Cloud migration and infrastructure as code
  • Legacy system replacement, step by step
  • Integration between disconnected systems
  • Monitoring, backup and incident response
  • IT roadmap and budget planning

Into Japan

  • Market and competitor research
  • Partner, distributor and client introductions
  • Support with a Japanese entity and contracts
  • Japanese-language materials and correspondence
  • Meeting support and interpretation

Into Mongolia

  • Market entry and feasibility studies
  • Local partner and supplier search
  • Company setup and operational support
  • Recruiting and team building on the ground
  • Day-to-day local representation
04 / BUSINESS

Mongolia–Japan business consulting

Two markets we know from the inside. We help Japanese companies work in Mongolia and Mongolian companies work in Japan — commercially and culturally.

A contract that reads correctly in both languages, a partner who answers the phone, an expectation stated plainly before it becomes a problem: cross-border work fails on these details far more often than on strategy.

Because we hold both a Mongolian and a Japanese company, we can act on either side — including signing, invoicing and hiring locally.

05 / TEAMS

IT engineer outsourcing for Japanese companies

Japan needs engineers; Mongolia trains strong ones. We connect the two, with the contract handled by our Japanese company in Niigata.

You can take a dedicated offshore team that works as your extended department, or individual engineers embedded in your existing team. We handle recruiting, employment, evaluation and the Japanese-language interface — you get engineers who are managed, not just introduced.

Roles we provide

  • Backend, frontend and full-stack developers
  • Mobile engineers (iOS, Android)
  • AI and data engineers
  • QA engineers and testers
  • Infrastructure and DevOps engineers
  • Bridge engineers and project managers

How it works

  • Contract with 株式会社Nonbox V in Japan
  • Communication in Japanese or English
  • Trial period before a long-term commitment
  • Monthly reporting and regular reviews
  • Replacement if the fit is not right

Questions

Before you write to us

Can we contract with a Japanese company?

Yes. 株式会社Nonbox V is registered in Niigata, so Japanese clients sign, invoice and pay domestically in Japanese yen, in Japanese, under Japanese law.

How small can a project be?

Small is fine. A short assessment, a prototype or a single integration are normal starting points — and a better way to test whether we work well together than a large first contract.

Who owns the code and the data?

You do. Source code, documentation and infrastructure configuration are handed over as part of the engagement, and your data stays in systems you control.

What languages do you work in?

English, Japanese and Mongolian. Documentation is usually written in English or Japanese, whichever your team will actually read.

Do you work with clients outside Mongolia and Japan?

Yes, for AI and software work. Our business consulting is specific to the Mongolia–Japan corridor, where our own experience is.

Not sure which of these you need?

Describe the situation in a few sentences. We will tell you what we would do about it — and whether we are the right people for it.
